Patrick Stewart does Shakespeare…on Sesame Street?

Apparently, this has been around for awhile (the video is from 2008), but I just recently discovered it. It’s been awhile since I’ve had any kids in the Sesame Street demographic in the house.

It’s a fun take on Hamlet’s soliloquy. Enjoy!

Burning…virtually

Every now and then, for about five minutes, I think I should go to Burning Man at least once in my life. It seems like such a unique experience, full of awesome art and interesting people. Then I remember it’s in the DESERT in the SUMMER and I think maybe I’m good. I’ll just check out the photos and videos online each year for my own “virtual Burning Man.”

I think my favorite piece of this year’s art is the big BELIEVE sign:

I even made this shot my wallpaper.

I also love this video by ekai on YouTube, shot with “a GoPro Hero3 on a DJI Phantom with an Arris CM2000 motorized gimbal” (I only know what a couple of those things are, but whatever…the result is awesome).

What a cool, surreal view! Parts of this feel like they fell right out of my dreams.
